Dance Competition 2019 (Bhojpuri / Sega)
As in previous years, the Senior Citizens Council is organizing the Dance Competition in Bhojpuri and Sega for affiliated Members of Senior Citizens Associations only i.e. 55 years of age and above.
The criteria for selection of the best groups will, among others, be: Original Melodies / Raag, Performance; Presentation; Choreography; Facial Expression; Respect of Time Limit; Optimum use of stage space.
The Rules of the competition are given below:
(i) Each group should consist of not more than ten (10) Persons with a minimum of five (5) dancers.
(ii) The duration of the performance of a group will not be more than six (6) minutes.
(iii) Please bring your CDS / DVDs or Pen Drive containing only the song on which you will perform.
The decision of the Jury would be final.
All Associations willing to participate in either Bhojpuri or Creole or in both competitions are invited to fill in the attached Dance Application Form (Annex II) and return it to the Council by Friday 09 August 2019. [Completed September 2019]
